    Default Parole Hearing Next Month

    https://www.wmbfnews.com/2022/01/20/...county-murder/

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. WMBF) - A man serving time after being convicted in the murder of a Conway High School student over three decades ago could be considered for parole next month.

In 1991, the body of 17-year-old Crystal Faye Todd was found in an Horry County ditch. Authorities determined she had been raped and stabbed numerous times.

DNA evidence later led them to the person many say Todd called a close friend: Johnnie “Ken” Register.

I listened to a podcast a while back called Carolina Crimes and thought I remembered this case. It in fact is episode 1, I went back and listened to it. Fast forward to about 20 minutes and listen to a few minutes; the boys I know in that part the country won’t let him get out the parking lot if they release him. That is a cruel fucker

I believe this was the first case in SC where DNA was used for a conviction.

Let him out, then justice can be served.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Could you imagine the uproar it would create if he was dragged off by his heels and eliminated?? Dang. Some folks ( some) would lose their damn minds.
