It’s a standard Berkeley pump part. Same for the seal. Using the BM number on the data tag, you can order the one that fits that pump. A decent sized motor shop will have them in stock..That’s a pretty common pump I probably have a gasket in my shop, mechanical seal and shaft sleeve as well. We sell and service a lot of Berkeley pumps.

Yeah Ive never spent time on a Berkeley but it should just be like any other pump and mech seal. I’ve gotta pretty spoiled with Durcos and Gould’s. SIHI and Speck seals fucking suck.

It’s a pretty simple pump. 2 piece carbon ceramic seal that slides on the shaft and is held in place with a single spring and snap ring.

Ok, I waited until the heat wasn't as bad to tackle this.

It looks like the motor shaft broke.

Any ideas on fixing or just getting a new motor?

Instead of thousands for motor/pump replacement, Perry Smith at Riverside Electronics fixed it for less than $200.00.
