Lost power around 9:15 here. Trees popping all around the house when I was booking up the generator.
Nothing but sleet in York. Probably 1-2” on the ground and not letting up anytime soon
He finally figured it out a few minutes ago.
He had stacked up a large section of wood with part of it resting against an electric smoker that sits on a small platform with casters under it. The weight of the stack had caused the cart to roll and as the cart rolled the part of the stacked wood began to roll with the smoker. The smoker mover about a good two feet. Unti he figured out what happened it real did look like someone had started taking wood off the top pile next to it. I got a pretty good laugh out of it because my parents had already started coming up with a list of potential suspects
Probably 9 inches of snow last night in Highlands. Freezing rain for the last three hours or so. Wind is howling. Just heard a tree pop close to the house.
Still have power for now. Tree popped outside the living room and the old lady bout went through the wall gettin off the couch. She usually only moves that fast when she gets a Facebook alert
Been on generator since 8:30 when the wife’s homemade biscuits where cooking. About 4000 outages for Newberry Coop.
I am making trek back to Columbia right now from Rutherford rd.
Once you get on 385 (if you can) there is no turning around. On/off ramps have cars stuck everywhere.
Best snow we have had in Greenville since I was a kids. Solid 6-8 inches (at least that’s what I told my wife).

Same in Woompston. Nice powder.
It's over in Florence. A little bit of freezing rain this am and then rain until 1 pm.

Got about 6 inches of snow and sleet. Been sleeting since 10 but so far no freezing rain. It has been windy so trees are clear of snow thankfully. Supposed to turn back to snow after 3 PM.
