    Default stabilitrak 2011 silverado

Cranked the truck up this morning to let it warm up. Went back out and it sounded like it was about to blow up. Stabilitrak light was on and check engine. I cut it off and let it sit for a while, disconnected the battery and now there's no check engine or stabiltrak light. It seems to be idling right at 500 when in drive. In park, it's about 7-800. I went ahead and changed the mass air flow sensor out. It has the AFM delete chip in it so I'm assuming that's not the problem. I drove it 30 miles to work and no lights came back on, but it still seems to be idling low. Another thing, if it's in park and I rev it up, it seems to be taking longer to come back down. Could it be the throttle body?

Clean your throttle body with spray brake cleaner.
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

I'll try that before I replace it. Thanks.

I tried that and it went real nutty be careful make sure you unhook your battery when you do it. There is a learning process after you clean it as well

Similar issue in mine. Bad wiring/connection between at the gas pedal throwing it.

You will have to do an idle relearn.
    More fuel = more boost!!

If I spray cleaner in the throttle body? A guy just cranked it up and listed to it and he said it sounds fine. Maybe I've talked myself into thinking it's running weird.

If you are a pessimist or suffer from paranoia, that's likely, but it's a chevy- probably is something wrong with it. Post a video of it running so we can listen to the motor.

I've never attached a video on here. What's the best way about doing that?

FYI, evidently the mass air flow sensor I put in was bad. It was reading -40 when the guy hooked his machine up to it.

    Airmass sensor reads voltage.

0.4-0.8 at idle and up to 5.0 volts wide open throttle

Hopefully everything is good. Now my oil pressure sensor is evidently gone bad b/c it's on zero. I've been told that's not something I need to try to tackle myself.

Yeah. It throws up a P0523 code.

Oil pressure sensor in my 2007 silverado wasn't that bad to change. Just need someone with a real skinny arm to reach back there! I had to get my wife to get it started for me then I could fish the socket on top of it.
