My Boykin is having a good time in his first season. Not much more than wood ducks, and dried up swamps aren’t helping things. He has brought close to 100 birds to hand since September.

The little shit is beginning to make fun of my shooting...
Few hunts so far. Can you pick which one wasn't in SC? Hahaha
“Duck hunting gives a man a chance to see the loneliest places …blinds washed by a rolling surf, blue and gold autumn marshes, …a rice field in the rain, flooded pin-oak forests or any remote river delta. In duck hunting the scene is as important as the shooting.” ~ Erwin Bauer, The Duck Hunter’s Bible, 1965

Ole boy did a dang good retrieve this am. Got to brag hunting in some thick cattails and brush had a bird sail at least 50 plus yards away and he was on it! Right to it and right back. It is impressive to watch them work!!

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right
They don't put Championship rings on smooth hands
