I can’t get past Tim McGraw being a turtle neck wearing liberal douche in real life, to watch this spinoff series.

We are going to keep watching it, but when the moustache whipped out oak leaves to show all the non-English speaking immigrants the poison oak and ivy to avoid...sheesh! Then, all of a sudden, the immigrant with small pox could speak English. I figured that would possibly be the last of the slack Hollywood dumbassery, then they dropped the sparking hooves BS. I really want this to be as solid as Yellowstone, but they need to tighten it up.

    ^^

I noticed that about the oak leaves too, not to mention McGraw fired that double barreled shotgun 3 times without reloading.

Oh yea, and Sam Elliot is overrated

Anyone who didn't notice that he was holding a branch of Texas scrub oak, needs some dendrology in their lives. I'd assume that when they sent a production assistant out to find "poison oak" he came up empty since there is no such animal...

Maybe Alec Baldwin will make a guest appearance and then they'll have to recast the lead. Bleached teeth, spray tanned, skinny jeans wearing angry little hobbit definitely diminishes the experience. Still worth watching

Wait, do you mean I didn't have to move all the deer stands out of the oak trees last night?

Used to love me some Jennifer Grey. She was also P. Swayze's chic, which gives her instant street cred.

I swear some of you would find fault with a show that had period correct guns, nekkid women putting out in every other scene, fighting and shooting.

The poison oak/ivy was funny, 99% of people watching would never know.

Tim McGraw is a rich, liberal peckerhead, he’s playing a character that isn’t. Enjoy the show.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.
