Another great job by KRT and crew today...
Wife’s 2015 Yukon had been having an intermittent start issue back beginning of November. Took it into Herndon Chevy on a Saturday and they diagnosed as bad battery cables which our warranty company denied. Herndon quoted $700+ to replace positive and negative cables... after talking with KRT he said try just the negative cable which I replaced myself for $80 part and hour of my time. Problem went away for a little over a month until last Thursday wife got stuck while running errands, no start. Finally got it started and back home.
Took to KRT on Monday and they were able to diagnose it actually had a bad starter. He called warranty company and got starter replacement approved and it was fixed about 2 hours after they got the part this morning.
He works with most warranty and fleet companies. If you guys are in the midlands you’re doing yourself a disservice if you aren’t taking your vehicles to him. He won’t sell you on anything he wouldn’t do to his family’s own vehicles.
Only downfall is all this praise has made him so popular that they stay busy.
Thanks again Kevin!
