    Default Elk hunting

My brother and I are in the process of looking for an outfitter out west to book an elk hunt. Anyone have experience with an outfitter that they would recommend? We are looking for a guided or at least semi guided hunt. We are open to any state. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!!

Better start putting in for points if you want to hunt the above average places.

I would recommend getting on go hunt.com and using someone on there. You are either going to have to play the waiting game with points or spend $$$ for a private land hunt.

My dad and granddad went on a Montana hunt in the mid 90’s with Rich Ranch. I’ve never heard anything negative about their experience. It was a horseback and camping deal which I think would be awesome. Both tagged an elk and dad killed a grizzly as well.
