    Default Summit Goliath

Been thinking about climbing again for a few years now. Ended up getting a summit Goliath. Used to use a viper years ago but figured I'd like a little more room. Dang I forgot how comfortable a summit was. Climbed up about 12 ft here in the back yard and I swear I don't want to come down.

Couple of mods I would highly recommend to anyone who faces away from the tree are from third hand archery. The SS footrest is a game changer. Very simple design and could be copied easily. Also the non slip platform tape is nice. The side stabilizer straps make this thing rock solid.

Summits are comfortable but are about the most cumbersome non-packing together mess I’ve ever tried to deal with.
And they don’t climb all that well. I’ll take the chains on an api or belts on a lone wolf any day, but neither are as comfortable as a summit.

Tree-fiddy. Them and the titan both do. Titan was slightly larger platform and seat but wasn't worth 4 more lbs to me

The old bars were the best. I'll choose life and comfort over ease at this point in my life
