This thing sat for about 60 days without running and now it won’t start. Anyone have insight into getting at the damn carburetor without sawing off that cover?

Should be here behind the air filter box. Take the air filter cover off , remove filter, and should have some long thru bolts that hold the carb on.

If you get to the carb, might be able to find a replacement for less than $10 on ebay or amazon. Not even worth cleaning.

Just pour some seafoam in it, let it sit overnight and then try the next day.

Yes I got one like it messed with it about 3 hours and never got it going. It would run on either but carb was plugged up. Tried cleaning the carb and no luck. Bought a new carb and started on first pull. Those carbs are cheap compared to labor and cussing I did about that thing. Just buy a carb. The carb is a B&S and Husky know nothing about it. Bought on line for about $20 bucks.

take that air filter out and squirt some starting fluid into the hole while someone is pulling start rope.
If it tries to run, you know you have spark and it's probably a fuel problem
If it doesn't attempt to run, it may not have spark.
Do this and then check back in here.
I love seafoam, but it's not going to do any good just poured into tank of non-running motor.
The seafoam needs to get circulated into the needle/seat/jet/bowl passages and that happens when its running

Even with ethanol free gas? For 2 months? I hate small engines. Seems like every time I want to quickly use something , turns out to be not so quick.
