    Default Battery powered tree saw?

Looking for a decent one. Likely won't be used much. Anyone got one they recommend?

My little bro has a dewalt and runs it off a 60v flex volt battery and loves it. It'll also take the standard 20v Max batteries.

Milwaukee if I was buying battery powered as that matches my tools and batteries.

I have a Stihl combi system, 2 stroke gas.

If you are buying new, and have no preference based on the batteries you already have...buy EGO. EGO is the Stihl of battery powered yard equipment. They have a multi system with a pole saw. Be sure and buy the extension attachment too so you can have a 10' reach.

In fact, I think I'm going to go ahead and add this to my list. I was going to buy the small battery chain saw but I think I'll get this instead.

I have the EGO blower and hedge trimmer and they are nice. I have not used the gas hedgers since I bought the EGO and the EGO blower gets used 2 to 1 over my backpack Stihl.

Their tools will use either 80 or 40 volt. I've got 2 80 volt batteries, 16" chainsaw, pole saw, blower and hedge trimmer. Worth every penny.

Yep- a roofer with a ladder will go as high as needed.

Seriously- we have been using the collapsing extension ladders at work- they have a pole attachment for leaning it against utility poles/ trees- rated up to 350 lbs and 20' standing height (plus your height and reach)- battery powered sawzall with a pruning blade and you are good to 28'

I’ve got a 20v Dewalt pole saw that will run off the 60v too. It’s a damn good little saw. I think mine is 10’.

It's what Yankees call a pole saw.
