    Honestly I would agree with you. It may just be based on the area but I don't know of a soul around me that hunts dove late season.

    I'd have to hold enough birds during the early season to grab Cali.. I'm not making him drive up for the lower numbers we've seen the last couple of years, I'm not into being embarrassed and making a buddy drive up two and a half hours. Winter seasons you don't really know until like a day before, then it can still be hit or miss. I'll invite 2th whenever, or a semi decent numbers, just to eat and talk. plus he likes to point at birds and heckle me if for some reason I miss one.

    The three before it were 1000 bird seasons.
