    Default Squirrel Taxidermy

I’m trying to get 2 fox squirrels mounted but seems like no one wants to mess with them.
    Any recommendations?

Take a good picture of them and commission an oil painting instead of taxidermy.

    It will become a classic.

Better to get ECU1984 to identify them first

Fur fins and feathers in Waterloo did one for me a few years back. I’m happy enough with it and the mount looks better than a few other fox squirrels I’ve seen done by another local taxidermist

    Here’s a dead mount squirrel I had done almost 40 years ago…..

Maybe tomorrow I’ll take a picture of the rest of the work. Still looks really good, fwiw.

I’d call great outdoors in bowman, he’s got one mounted on the wall someone didn’t pick up and it looks great compared to some I’ve seen around over the years.

A few people on here recommended Dennis Stratton in Swansea or Gaston or somewhere near the meth triangle when I asked the same question years back. He blocked my number when I checked in after a year, and I never got my deposit back. So not him if suggested.
