Morning,
Does anyone have anywhere I can look for the rules and regulations of Deep Hole Shrimping for South Carolina. Have never done it and would like to try it.
Thanks!

Need a saltwater license.
Find hole, throw net.
Electronics help you know if they are in there. Not the same as shrimp baiting.
Pretty simple. Same limit as baiting. Until sometime in December when you can only be in possession of 12 dozen.
From the DNR website: Taking Shrimp Without Bait
Closed: Dec. 16 - Apr. 30
48 quarts whole or 29 quarts headed per day (sunrise to sunrise) per boat, per person if no boat is used, or per seining party
12 dozen dead or live shrimp allowed per boat during closed season.
See Crustacean and Shellfish Methods and Devices for Shrimp Seine Gear Restrictions (see above).
You will need a fish finder to locate them but it takes some learning to know what you are looking at. Slack water is best. Your net must be taped or it will close by the time it gets to the bottom. Navionics Plus chart is your friend to find these deep holes.
