    Default Lariat vs. XLT resale

Trying to decide between the two. Is the lariat worth the extra money and does it hold its value better over an XLT in resale? It is a $4500 difference

The A/C seats are really nice all 9 months of summer here in SC.

    Lariat.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I think you can add leather to an xlt for 1500ish, been a while since I checked. I vote lariat though. A/C seats are pimpin

I just bought a FX4 XLT Supercrew a couple months ago. I ordered it without a sunroof which is an option I never utilized. It took 7 months to deliver. Overall the level of options are close to the Lariat 4x4 I sold. I think the main difference between the trim level is leather vs cloth seats. I can live without the leather seats. The FX4 has heated , but not cooled seats. That might be a negative, as I got used to the airflow from below in the summer fo sho.

Lariat is mid level trim these days, nice enough to help resale if you take care of it.

Like others have said get the Lariat. The A/C seats alone are worth it.

A vehicle is a depreciating asset that lose value as soon as you put the key in it and leave the dealership.

I just want dependable. Every Ford I’ve owned has been that .

Not lately, seems like a truck is worth more than you paid for it if it’s 5 years or newer.

No kidding. I could easily make about $15k on my '16 F-150 Lariat.

I'm surprised the truck market hasn't settled down yet.

I have never bought a vehicle with resale in mind. By the time I get rid of one, the trim level isn’t really affecting the value much.
