Another deer aging question
We have a cool poster at our hunt camp that has pics of different age deer with a description of some characteristics to help age the animal. It is all in half year increments, i.e. 1.5, 2.5, etc.
I think I know the answer but I figured I would ask y'all. Why the half year designation? Is that bc they are born in late winter/early spring and by the time that hunting season rolls around they are approximately six months old?
