    Default Camper tires

What tires are y’all running on your campers? It’s time to replace ours and I’m looking for something good. We don’t travel far very often and only use the camper once a month, maybe. We are going on our longest trip ever in December, from Aiken to Pigeon Forge.

I switched mine to BFG commercial truck tire. Screw a trailer tire!

15" and up I run load range E/F truck tires on both my hauler trailer and tri axle boat trailer . On my tandem axle trailer under my bay boat, I run 14" radial Load range D....Carlisle Radial Trail HD 8 ply tires. These work well for long range hauling and take the heat very well. This is also how I run my fleet of 30+ trailers at work.

I have 7 trailers and they all have maxxis trailer tires. They wear very well.

I put the carlisle radial trail hd on my camper with 14s. Get a load range E radial if you can, keep a couple spares and run them at the suggested psi and you’ll be just fine. Carlisle, Hi-run, Hercules are all good brands

Carlisle would be my second choice. Samson is a really good brand that is more of a budget tire. My buddy who has runs 4 hot shot rigs swears by them. He originally turned me on to the trans eagle

Goodyear Endurance. On my 5th Wheel I used the 14 ply G14's. Pulled to Florida numerous times on 95 with no issues. They are pricey but the damage a cheap Chinese tire will be far more.

No I doubt. I had pulled mine 7 times and had 3 blowouts. Enough was enough

Endurance, wouldn’t have anything else. I have almost 10k on this set.

    Or Michelin XPS RIB

    Or Continental LAR3

You’re pulling a 5th wheel or a nice travel trailer, don’t mess around with tires. Go commercial…
