    Happy Thanksgiving SCduckers!
Myself, buddy and buddies 10 year old son did a Turkey day shoot.
Pair of Wigeon do it right. Boy allowed 1 shell at a time. Ups, shoots, and down spirals this.
I actually saw the red head first, but not until it was spiraling down.
    Expensive hunt for Dad.

Good day for sure! It was sketchy on the way out. Low tide at 1115. Told buddy we need to take your jet boat and be motoring out by NLT 1000. 1015 rolls around. Our channels are inaccessible at low tide. Well, we literally plow through a gravel bar at 30 knots in the worse area. 5 more minutes I think our wives would be pissed cause we would still be stuck on the gravel bar. Thanksgiving ain't the day to be stuck in the marsh waiting on the tide!!

Only ever seen one down here while hunting and I killed it. Should have mounted it but after I kept it in the freezer for a year without touching it I ended up giving it to M1A1 to Mount for himself.
Living in Moncks Corner but looking forward to moving back to the West Coast in 2020 where there are more ducks and less duck hunters!! LOL
