My wife ordered their bar be que shrimp. When served fully intact with the heads on and tentacles, or whatever the smart person name for those are, she couldn’t eat them. So I ate my plate and hers and they were fantastic. Yours look superb though and suit me better.

You lost me here, brother. There's plenty of green stuff that don't taste bad at all. AND is good fo you. Broccoli, asparagus, lettuce, spinach, etc. Plenty, dude.

I used to have a black guy hang sheetrock for me. He would eat soul food at lunch and you didn't want to visit the portajon after he'd been in there. Them greens would clean him out.

Eh, I like any kind of ham. I cheated on that, it was just a “ham steak” I picked up when I was in the store bc I knew I could make a quick easy meal with it one day. Now the pintos, I did them up right. They cooked long and slow and were seasoned with everything from bacon grease, onion, brown sugar, even threw some jalapeño slices in the pot to cook down with them. Sopped the broth up with the cornbread and it was on point

I'll eat a ham steak in a skinny minute and the old lady has informed me pot of pintos after church tomorrow.

That is a caramel apple cake. Chef Scott Peacock’s recipe and it is a winner.
