    Default Friday Eats

I usually don't eat a whole lot during the week so I try to do up something decent on Friday afternoons.

Today's lunch: Moose burgers with a side of boudin (moose meat compliments of one of our finest SCDuckers)

    Love me some boudin.

Wife and I got home a little while ago and we were trying to figure out supper. Neighbor just texted and said they had brats, peppers, onions rolling on the flattop. We gonna ride over and take them up on it.

All the people at our house looked like a flushed covey of quail yesterday evening. Folks heading in 3 different directions so we did messican takeout.

    Carnitas from the El Conquistador.

That’s Spanish for the the conquistador for those of you that don’t hablo.

I believe it’s habla but I’m from above the border so I don’t know. There’s all sort of different endings anyways and it gets confusing

I think it’s hablar or maybe hablan.

Where’s our resident roofer, he’s gotta know.

Bought an Akorn Jr. for the RV a month or so ago. Still getting it figured out. Today's late lunch:

It most certainly was at that point. Needed a couple more hours plus a wrap in red butcher paper. Pulled it at 201'F and it was spot on.

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.
