BB ain't wrong. I've never liked catfish. But you told me you won't eat a persimmon so I think your taste buds are just off! I eat 100 or so every Fall. They get sweeter as the season goes on.

[QUOTE=Duck cutter;3069833]Catfish stew from a few weeks back, Big Brother’s recipe.
Didn’t take a picture of the finished product but my Grandma asked for seconds so i know it was pretty good

This looks incredible. Are you just pan searing the catfish? No breading.

    Pan searing, yes.

And apply a very generous coating of blackened redfish magic

You don't need seasoning for wahoo and snapper. Or sardines.

Lemon and salt go a long way on sardines, wahoo, and snapper. Just saying.

Wahoo that were swimming off the coast of Man O War last week will be on the menu tonight ... I'm not cooking it, and I probably won't take a picture either.

Were you stolen as a baby and raised by Huguenots?

I do like both, for different reasons, but anchovies trump sardines

That's all my Grandmother had was a wood stove, for heat and cooking. It was left to me and before I could get up to Chester after she passed POOF-Gone

One of my neighbors owns a couple nice pizza places. When I order -add double anchovies. I love em. The staff doesn't even charge me for the fish. They do give me side eye.
