    Default 2017 F150

F150 shuttering when pulling small trailer and 4 wheeler. Tranny starting to go? More noticeable at higher speeds, doesn’t notice it without the trailer. Tranny was low on fluid, techs topped it up, but symptoms are still there.

They confirmed all cylinders were firing? Sounds exactly what my previous trucks did when ever there was a misfire on a cylinder.

My 2014 Silverado started doing that and my transmission ended up going out, to me that sounds like you’re describing a torque converter shutter. KRT would be the man with the answer most definitely

Yeah my wife’s Acadia had the same shudder, but not as often as this truck is doing it. Its pretty rhythmic when it does it.

Misfire or torque converter, but I’m no KRT. Any lights on?

2015 F150 92k miles but some decent towing before I purchased. Just started noticing the same thing. Going up any hill makes it worse. Talking to some guys at work today and they said torque converter is the likely culprit but to change the transmission fluid first and see if that helps.

This. Had a computer update done on my 2017 Friday night and the shudder is gone now.

Thanks for that. If this doesn't work I will look at that. My buddy mentioned disconnecting the battery to "relearn" shift points as another option. Not sure how that helps but I'm not a car guy
