Met up with my buddy,his wife and their 3 little men Sun down on the Delta.Daddy suggested to his oldest(8yrs) to hop on w/ me(think he was trying to thin out the crowd a little).....MAN DID HE DO THAT KID A FAVOR!(ME TOO!!)
With the tide just starting to push back,we set up along a grass edge just over from them and proceeded to start "the contest".The fish(reds) started out small but after the first half doz or so they got better.By the time it was all said and done "little man" had captured himself 12-14 reds and bested his biggest fish caught ever,three fish in a row(4lbs,4.5lbs,7lbs).He was beyond "stoked" that he took dad to school!!
That's got to be one of the most fun fishing trips I've ever had......
AND I DIDN'T EVEN REEL IN A FISH!!
