    Default War Eagle Blackhawk 961

Does anyone have any experience with the 961 Blackhawk? Specifically about the ride. I know they advertise a 18 degree v hull. Does that carry all the way back to the transom or is that just the bow entry? My dad is looking at the Blackhawk and the 860LDSV. Similar sized boats within a foot in length and 7in in width. 860 model claims a 12 degree hull. Both boats will be rigged with a 115 SHO. He’s basically wondering is the difference in ride worth the $7k? He fishes lake Moultrie and the rivers, and creeks around Charleston.

I love mine. I am contemplating moving to a bass boat for Trace but dang I don’t want to. Probably the best boat I have owned.

Why do you dislike about the center console?

Just specially for bass fishing. Fishing with a coangler it is kind of a pain to keep hopping over the seats to fish the back. Every other type of fishing I prefer the center console.

For bass tourneys- they absolutely do catch more fish- just a function of efficiency and ease of use- using the most efficient tool increases productivity- they are also much faster, ride better and are quieter than an aluminum boat.
I won many tourneys out of other style boats- but always would have done as well or better in a bass boat and had an easier day on the water.

Bw35 hit me up if you decide to sell. Looking like May or June for a new Blackhawk.

Absolute fact that cannot be disputed.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

I don’t think it will make you catch more fish but I def think it will make you more efficient. Fishing with 8 bass rods on a boat with not much front deck space is a pain in the butt.
