Default Try this if you are a milk drinker

One of my long time clients (Milky Way Farms in Starr SC) has been producing all jersey milk for years

They also produce Whole milk and now have started producing chocolate milk

Recently they got their product on the shelves at Ingles in the upstate.

Give it a try, I am sure you will not be disappointed

Every now and then ill buy the Promise Land choc milk at publix, prob some of the best I've ever tasted. Had some from a dairy farm in Chicago called Oberweis farms, the best hands down. Comes from the cow to the store in under 24-48 hours. Comes in a glass jar that you return to the store. I'll look for this brand when I hit the upstate in 2 weeks, love some chocolate milk late at night when I wake up thirsty.

However, my kid drinks the hell out of it. If I see it, he can me the crash test dummy.

Tried the chocolate milk the other night, it was ok. Known Davis and LD for years, glad they are doing well in their business.

Yeah I had some last weekend. Good, but not Happy Cow good or Hickory Hills good. Also had some of that “Tiger Juice”
Or whatever the hell they call it that’s supposed to be like an Orange Creamsicle…..tasted just like the milk left in the bowl after you’ve eaten all the Fruit Loops.

What you think you’re talking about is a completely different product. And it sucks. So, no. That’s bullshit.

That’s raw milk. Raw is whole but most whole isn’t raw.

I'm not sure that's correct. Homoginization and Pasteurization are different processes. The bottled milk we used to get delivered to the doorstep had the cream at the top, but it was not raw milk.

Brutal business. You do not think about it but price of milk has never gone up with wages, fuels, feed costs and etc.

They just got a new robotic milking machine up and going , lot of money spent on that. But with labor shortages it should make a difference.

Only dairy left in Anderson County

Read the bottom right of the label folks. Shake before using. Y’all fuckers are the ones wrong.

My point is that grocery store whole milk has no cream left in it therefore it taste different.

I am sure those that use all Jersey’s will say yes , but I think (and I am going on what LD told and hope I have it correct ) is that Jersey’s actually produce more milk than other cows on average.

    No.

Jerseys have a higher butterfat content. They produce "better" milk than average, or at least milk with more solids. But not the sheer amount of a Holstein.
