I agree but sometimes it’s best to know the exact law if you are going to bend it if you know what I’m saying

Having a bird feeder in the yard, I have no problem with shooting them over bait. I draw the line at high fence squirrel.

If you can shoot a deer over corn , why not a squirrel?

Nuisance squirrels? Kill the hell outta them!

I have no problem baiting them near the kitchen window and shooting them with a suppressed .22 right outta the kitchen window & then toss 'em in the creek for crawdad food.

Initially, I taught my kid to eat what he kills. He understands my rationale in this sense. (Same goes with any damned cat on the property; I don't let him pop the cats, but I sure will gut-shoot them so they run off elsewhere to die.)

(Log house; the squirrels literally try to eat the home.)

I taught my kids to eat what they kill. I ruined a perfectly good chicken bog when I dropped the squirrel in it...

Many year later I might have mud stomped a spoonie and they reminded me about needing to cook it.
