    Default Dogtra Range Issue

Figured I’d ask here since I can’t call until tomorrow.

Dogtra collars aren’t working well. Double unit, I have to be within 10’ +\- for it to work any function (shock, vibrate, or beep). Collars and remote are fully charged. Worked fine until last 15 minutes of a 8 day hunting trip.

Is there something I’m missing? Easy fix?

I replaced battery and antenna on a 1900ncp I got a while back on here and it really helped with battery life and distance. Maybe 20$ total, this was 6-7 years ago

Bought it brand new within the last 6 months. I’ve replaced batteries in other collars, but wouldn’t think they’re already bad this quickly.

I’m with you on the batteries. At 6 mos old I’d be letting someone at Dogtra explain to me how they planned on replacing it.

Call Pete Fischer with Dogtra or look him up on facebook. He will get you straight. Their customer service is awesome.
