Default 11/3 AM Biggest buck to date

By far the most memorable deer hunt I've had. Right before first light could hear a couple of bucks fighting right behind the stand crashing through the pines; snort wheezing, grunting, you name it I heard it. Had a smaller buck chasing a doe go into some brush out in front of me and I got the gun up just to give him a once over when he came back out to make sure it wasn't a buck my buddy had on the hit list. I saw a flash of brown take off and thought he'd run off and then this stud gave me the shock of my life when he stepped out into the food plot and not the other buck. 10 seconds later he was taking a dirt nap where he stood. Not too shabby of a way to break in the new rifle either.

    Good killin, and great buck.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home. -Tecumseh-

Its a Bergara Ridge SP 6.5 creedmoor with a 2.5-10 X 56 mm Trijicon Accupoint. Took the scope off another rifle but would really like to get one with a a little more magnification on it. Shooting 143 gr ELD X Hornady PHs with 1/2 in groups at 100 yds. Its definitely a shooter.

Thank ya sir! This is my second account on here, lost the info for one I'd had since high school. Where in Monroe are you? The girlfriends parents have a little farm out that way
