    What is the best tree-facing climbing stand for a large person. 6'2" 270#

    Summit 180 max xd. You can face the tree or away from tree. I just have the summit 180. It is a little tight. I am 6’3 240. I think the max xd would be a better choice. It is bigger

    The larger 24" buckshot, it's heavy but solid and comfortable.

    There are two buckshots that are 24" and would fit your bill. I have the older non-adjustable one with the backrest. This is the bigshot. The equalizer allows you to adjust for tree diameter as you go up or down. $440 for the big equalizer.
    It's not enough to simply tolerate the 2nd Amendment as an antiquated inconvenience. Caring for the 2nd Amendment means fighting to restore long lost rights.
