    Default Decoy/gear sled?

For those that have them school me. Can i float a deer out of the swamp, will they hold up to cypress knees, stumps, logs, etc…. Liking for something i could possibly tow behind a kayak. Looking at jet sled, beaver tail, but open to options if it’s feasible. Thanks in advance.

I've never had good luck dragging them through water with obstructions. Cypress knees, corn stalks, anything will tip them pretty good. Great for dragging through a field.

We have put decoys and children in the large one like JAB posted. We drag them to the blind and it worked very well. But no idea how they would do in deeper water though.

In deep water? It looks similar to the beaver tail and jet sled.

Otter sled is probably your best bet that I know of

"Deep" being 3 feet or so. They look a whole lot more flimsy than they used to, but it is hard to tell from the pics...

I've used a sled similar to the one JAB posted and prefer just using an open top kayak. The kayak isn't much bigger, is more streamlined for going through obstacles and can double as a boat if you need to cross a drain or creek.

We have the xl jet sled and a beaver tail and have put 190lb men in both of them. Otter makes one even bigger
