Any of yall running Tachs on your older tillers? I want to put one on my '03 40 Yamaha but didnt know if anybody had done it yet.

A tiny tach is junk and will break, often sooner than later

I would figure out a place to mount an analog tach whether it’s temporary or permanent.

You can buy a cup holder/tach box that attaches to the rail of your boat that’s easy to make work.

X2 on the tiny tachs being junk. They sent me a few of them and they wouldn’t last on my 70.

There's a tach signal wire in the bundle somewhere. You should be able to hook it up to any standard good ole tach.
