    They make several different apps that will help you.
    The one with the dark dirtier bark is a post oak Im about positive. Same thing essentially for a deer. If you’re having a lean year look in more sheltered areas that a late frost may have not wiped out the acorn buds. Not sure we had a late frost however in the state of sc

    Spotty crop around here and it is evident with the deer steadily using corn. We had a late freeze into April. Deer will take a toll this year.

    That late frost burned the hell out of my chestnuts too- not a burr on them.
