    Default Bicolor lespedeza seedlings

I’m looking for some bicolor seedlings. Need several thousand. Any nurseries in SC that would possibly have any?

I can’t for sure tell you you won’t find any right now but I doubt you will. It’s usually planted in early summer and most of the places I see are sold out for 2021. However next year plenty of online seed company’s like Hancock sell it.

You may be able to control the individual plants you put in the ground, but you can’t control where the seeds end up and cause other people a headache…

You’ll be back in 2 years asking what herbicide kills it.

I have about 10 patches of it that have been there 30+ years and it hasn't become a problem yet. I'll take my chances.....

We planted some strips of it probably 15-20 years ago and it can be disked around on 3 sides. It has still spread along the wood edges down the field over time. I wish we would have never planted it. It was billed as the magic bullet for quail but in nearly 2 decades I don't think I've seen any animal use it other than maybe a deer will pause in it to survey the field before they commit to step out.

You’re time and money are far better invested in hedgerows of ragweed and partridge pea, or plum thickets.

It's easy to kill and convert.
I've gotten rid of all our bicolor patches in the past couple of years and no one is saying it was a mistake!
