    Guy I worked with has 4000hrs on his 06 or 08 sea pro with f150 Yamaha. That was about 2 years ago. Probably 50/50 between the lake and the keys.

    One thing you don’t realize is how many hours total up just from idling. The 150 is a steel sleeved workhorse and maintenance and care is more important than gross engine hours.

    I was at Mid-Carolina Marine recently talking with one of their mechanics. He said someone brought in a Yamaha with 11,000 hours. Still runs strong.

    No real good answer to your question. All depends on previous owner and luck.
