Watching him on ACC network on Huddle and looks like Parkinson’s is really working on him

I noticed he is sitting very still and does not use his hands at all

Damn shame, great guy and terrible disease

I was just talking about that. It’s too bad. Hate that for him.

    Didn’t know he had that.

I always assumed he had some sort of liver disease as jaundiced as he looked.

Richt is highly regarded in Athens. Not Dooley or Herschel level, but well loved. The school is going to give him some honor on Nov 6 during halftime at Sanford. We are planning to be there . He is a DGD.

He is liked in Tallahassee as well. Hated seeing him leave.

Richt had problems with McGarity. I would to with the way he went about his firing (called a press conference and had richt sitting beside him while he told the media he was being fired.) His fued with McGarity is the reason Max Johnson is playing for LSU and not UGA. When Kirby reached out to the Johnsons about recruiting Max they politely told Georgia to stop their efforts because he would not be playing in Athens. They honored Richt at the Carolina game or UAB game I cant remember. I assume they went ahead and did it before it was too late. I think the Richts are back in Athens.

Edit: I thought they already honored him, I was wrong.

The Richt family split their time between a home in Athens, GA and Destin. FL.

Parkinson's is an evil bitch. My Dad suffered terribly for 16 years. Keep Coach Richt in your thoughts and prayers. He's a good man.
