    Default Mission accomplished

I’ve been busy working the weekends and was missing time with my son.

Decided to take this weekend off and spend some time together. The plan was to get him on a big slot red that pulls the boat around. First cast was a 20” flounder that moved the boat pretty well but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted him to experience.

After a lot more paddling we found a nice one that was willing to play the game. Mission accomplished.85567889-A4AA-4E8C-AF25-0FE02E7E5D52.jpg81CF7D98-9DF7-40A2-9852-19CAA977ABC7.jpg

You aren’t kidding. Our fishing overlords have decreed it illegal to keep them outside a 2 week season. :rolleyes

Don't blame overlords. Blame gill netters in NC.

The overlords allow the raping of resources to continue.

I would’ve just kept the flounder anyway.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
