Our club had a surprisingly good hunt last Saturday that was the fourth good weekly hunt in a row on the same field. The birds were definitely educated though. They flew like they had been to A-10 fighter pilot school. As soon as they heard a shot, they would dive down to the level of the sunflower tops and swerve and dip through the field. It would have been scary on a public field with all the low birds.
We’ve been blessed to have them in large numbers the whole first season. These fields have historically been dove fields and the birds can’t help but come here. Small shoots of 5-8 people help also.
i cant believe you dont own a yeti bucket
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
Old trusty free camo bucket, my swivel seat top fits it perfectly.

Yessir, good fun there.
They have a purpose, we keep one on the boat and it doesn’t slide around and we hang our unrigged baits from it. When you’re running 55 in the ocean it’s annoying to have buckets sliding around all over the place, stick that yeti in the corner and it stays put. For dove hunting the free one works just fine as it stays in my truck and if some peckerhead steals it I won’t be out anything.
