    Default Shoe Glue

Is there anything that I could use on these snake boots to glue this back?IMG_20210927_162703612_BURST000_COVER.jpg

Same thing just happened to my old ass chippewas.

I bought some shoe goo at wal-mart. I’m trying to glue them a section at a time because I don’t have enough clamps to do it all at once.

Clean the hell out of the soles before you glue them. Otherwise it won’t stick very well.

Not done yet so can’t say how well it holds up.

I've glued and duct taped. Kept the water out. Then I bought a new pair and saved them as back up, still going strong

I glued my rockies back a few weeks ago with she goo. Seems to be holding up

Always thought she goo was a lubricant, not a bonding agent.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Shoe goo worked on mine, and mine were more severe than that.

I use AquaSeal. 5200 is probably stronger but it takes a day or two to dry completely.

I'd go with the 3M 5200 in black first as that should be a stronger adhesive.

If for some reason that doesn't work, go with the black Shoe Goo. I've repaired the soles on hiking shoes, my Danner Sharptail mid-soles, and numerous rubber boots. The key is to clean the inner soles really well. I've used Naptha and a wire brush.
