One of my cousins has a small field that had great shoots on opening day and Labor Day. He called me earlier this week and said he was still holding birds. We’re shooting Friday at 3 o’clock , hoping the birds hang tight

They tore my 8 ft fence up this year jumping on top of it. The mistake I made was thinking it was good enough without an outside hot strand. Going back to that next season.

Good gosh- I thought I had an answer. Guess we shall see. Hopefully ours will keep em out. Ate all my corn and sunflowers this year. Duck pond wiped out too. Just cleared it and trying to get millet in tomorrow

Good shoot this afternoon, put 13 in the bucket. Knocked down one that another guy picked up thinking he shot it and knocked one down I couldn’t find. They were still shooting when left to go deer hunt

Your father emailed you a dove report. That's the craziest shit I've ever seen.

He emailed the folks he had invited on the hunt to let them know that they could bail if they were so inclined. I was copied. Why I’m explaining that to you is a loss on me.

Gonna email wife "what kind of biscuit you want"
Then I'm gonna show up at home with just a biscuit for me and be like "I asked you what you wanted and you didn't respond".

In September the hotter it is the more doves you have. Apparently.

If you don’t have a red shop towel in your pocket to wipe sweat from your face and your sunglasses aren’t fogged up they won’t fly.
