    Default Youth Bass League

How many of you currently participate or have participated in the past?

Have any of you put together a homeschool team?

    Thanks

My son fished from 7th grade until graduation last year. Some of the best times of our lives. Even garnered two college offers. I'd be glad to answer any questions you have.

    Cool...

I'm just starting to research this. I'm sure I will have a ton of questions.

We will be, or are at least looking into creating a homeschool team.

Wife and I just started looking into it. I got a 5th grader that can hold his own with most grown men when it comes to catching a largemouth.

I think they can start competing once they hit middle school. I've got a sixth grader who's looking to fish next year.

I can get you in touch with Tony Gray who is the SC state director.

    Another question…

For those that have fished, do/did you have teams established through The Bass Federation (TBF) or BASS? It seems those are the two choices.

I asked DNR aquatics director a question and she responded and copied Tony.

They have already had one on Wateree and Murray. The next one is on Santee in early November.

I think Tony Grays group is connected with BASS. That's who my neighbor and cousins fish with. They have over 100 boats at most tournaments.

Trace Fishes through BASS. There are 2 trails you can fish. The team he is fishing on is based out of Edgefield. Let me know if you need some info on the league. It’s an awesome set up. Really makes the kids feel like they are fishing “big time”.

    Tony Gray heads it up.
