    Default Beaver Trappers

I know there was a similar thread on here but do we actually have anyone on the site that will trap? We are in a neighborhood so shooting is not an option. We got a quote and it was $7800 which seemed really high to me.

The ones I’ve dealt with charge a flat setup fee and then it’s per beaver after that. I’ll see if I can dig up the number for the guy we used.

Check with wildlife about USDA APHIS Beaver Management Program. In NC it’s pretty reasonably priced if your county participates.

Get your son to learn how (they are relatively easy to trap) and make a video about it. The problem with the 3 month deal is that if you have suitable habitat for them, they will be an ongoing problem.

Put trace to work on them. Just be careful what you show in the video. Rumor has it yt is demonetizing a lot of hunting and fishing channels because it some how violates their terms and agreement

Where abouts in Lexington are you at? You can PM me if you want. I’m in Lexington near the Barnyard Flea Market. I got traps, and my 5 year old is all about catching and killing them. Might could help, depending on how big the area and problem.

Drop the tailgate, crank some Bocephus and crack the seal on some Bartles and James wine coolers. Then just sit back and wait.

That’s how we did it in the 80’s.

Contact Chip Sharpe and see if he’s still teaching trapping. Top notch. I’ll look and see if I can’t find his contact info.

You got 7 beavers to trap. That's how many I get everytime I did a project like that. Trapping is easy.
