Developer just bought 300 acres in Pageland and his plan is 300 homes on acre lots. It happens and it will keep happening.

Developments are popping up everywhere in Horry, I lost 2 leases this year that were sold to developers.

When a 200 acre parcel right across the road from my farm came up for sale after the death of the owner, I was thrilled when I found out a dirt mining company bought it and planned to dig it up. I'll have dump trucks running up and down the road for a few years but when it's done, no new neighborhood, trailer park, transportation hub or any of that crap, just a big pond.

Probably housing for gold mine workers. Worst thing that happened to Kershaw.

SO what is the answer? Build upward? Big cities are a cesspool of democrats.

Be more strategic about economic development. Bigger ain’t always better

It’s more people coming from across the state line for cheaper housing

This is why I bought and leased land in Lynchburg.

Nobody,.....and I mean nobody is developing anything in Lynchburg.....or ever will.

Private individuals bring deals to the market of developing. Do you want more government controlled centralized planning of private property development?

I heard Plantation Deer Club is looking for a few good men.

You are welcome to come as a guest with me- hunting between Branchville and Bamberg. Dog hunting and club stands with corn.
You will need to visit with most clubs to get on their list for next year
My club is called Tea Farm and was around 4,000 acres not too long ago. Then 600 acres were sold to Charleston county for a park(Caw Caw), then another chunk for a new school 10 years ago, now this.

Bad Habit, I'll take you up on that offer if we can make it happen. I'd love to get an opportunity to hunt with my kids on a quality dog club with some acreage.

We will make it happen soon- we will be rolling Saturdays and holidays except Christmas the rest of the year. Send me a text with your name and contact info. 843-813-8080 Mark Williams
They hunt very safe and have been a club since 1950's Hunters Chapel
