    Default We got any engineers?

    Specifically for some commercial electrical work. County making me get for food truck hook ups.

    I know a lot of electrical engineers - I wouldn't trust any of them for the work you're talking about. You need a good experienced electrician.

    I'm a sales engineer. I probably can't help ya much. But I can probably explain current draw to the electrical engineer that stamps the drawings if ya need me to.

    County wants one page riser diagram of the layout & what we are using. The electrician put on permit paperwork we are using RV hook ups. Which we are for food trucks but that set the county on its ear thinking we were doing an RV park. Anyway, one meter base with wire running to 10 outlets is what I'll have.

    Seems like you could sketch that on a piece of grid paper and hand it to the county guy.

    No need for stamped drawings for this.

    These reviewers are lazy as hell. They want an engineer to assume liability rather than referencing a code book.

    Did that. Now he wants the stamp. Now the reason is, it's "commercial". Originally it was because it was for an RV park. Once that was cleared up ,they raised the bar.
