the song refers to whatever you want the night to be, or nothing.. it's an internet thing. In no reference to the 32 years ago we think, but maybe it does. could be some time travel or clairvoyance going on.

What have you been smoking tonight?

I was on DC duty at the Navy yard- what a night.

    Nothing.

I googled the September 21st trend.. simply because I was curious. I don't really keep up with modern video trends.

But I knew today was Hugo's anniversary

I was holding a 6 month old black lab puppy, more or less, trying to keep him in our hallway. I remember my father and I walking out into the eye of the storm.

I was in my bed, when this happened.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is,
as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

The OP wasn't even born when Hugo came through

But I can't say much, I was only four months old at the time. Slept through the whole thing per my mom and had a tree crash through the roof in the room which was my nursery. We were hunkered in the middle of the house.

I slept on a mattress in our hallway. I do remember going outside during the eye. Took a week to cut out of the neighborhood. I was only 8 years old so I climbed around in a bunch of fallen trees for the next month.

I was living on Fernandina Beach when Hugo rolled by just offshore. Pretty sure we would have been under water had it decided to take a slight left. Never seen water that turbulent since.

Went to my grandparents in Williamsburg County a week or so later. All I remember was the swirls of downed trees along the interstate and the various boards and other objects stuck in the sides of their house from the wind.

Tied up at the weapons station on the sub with a torn apart reactor. Lost shore power with the first tidal surge and got to huff diesel fumes for 5 days before finally getting to go home.

    We were stanky.

Going topside during the eye was surreal.
