    That is awesome.
Please excuse my dumb ass, but do you draw tags for all those animals? You could have killed a grizzly, sheep, and caribou?

I would think distances would fool folks in that terrain

The packing with in and out with the horses brought back good, no great , memories. That alone would be worth it to me.

That’s awesome! When I was home after a shoulder surgery, I binge watched Jim Shockey’s Yukon series. Beautiful country. Definitely on my bucket list.

No the outfitter is given a certain amount of tags for his area. Yes that was the plan. They sent me, and i know from hunting with them before, to their #1 sheep area, in hopes of getting one down quick and tagging others. Best we could figure was wolves had been there because they were scattered to hell.

in the pics, if it looks like 500 yards, its a mile, if it looks like a mile, its 5!

A certain section of land, that only a licensed outfitter can guide hunts in, no one else. He basically owns the guiding rights. They maintain their own air strips, camps etc in that area. I hunted with Macmillan and his area is roughly 3 million acres.

Not sure if you did it on purpose but glad to see you leading off with landscape pics than a kill pic. I feel like most these days and bc of social media only care for a kill pic, when that scenery is worth more.

    Awesome hunt!
