Nice. Was looking at pictures from earlier trips today. This is a farmer in Manitoba from back in 99. Good chance he will be in my wedding. Can’t wait to get up there in a few weeks and would love some snow

Saw the 04 date and immediately remembered the mad cow mania that was going on then. If I remember right, Bush blocked all Canadian beef imports for a while. That year was my first year going up there, and we were being turned away by many farmers up there. To say they were pissed is an understatement.

You remember correct. I see a correlation between then and now with the Administration allowing anyone from anywhere but Haiti to flow across the southern border, or fly right in from Europe, but a Canadian still can't drive right across the border. They have to be pissed about it, but the prairie farmers understand bad governance...
