Clemson QB D.J. Uiagalelei Excited About Playing at 'Wide Receiver U'
Clemson's ability to recruit and produce big-time receivers was a big draw for quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei, who's calls this year's pass-catchers the best in college football.

When D.J. Uiagalelei went through the recruiting process, he wanted to make sure whichever school he chose had the pass-catchers to help make him successful.

So the Clemson quarterback picked a school that likes to go by "Wide Receiver U" because of the immense talent it's produced at the key position.

"I wanted to surround myself with great weapons," Uiagalelei, a first-year starter, said. "I had great weapons in high school. I didn't want to go through a drop-off. I didn't want to go to a school without great receivers. Coming to Clemson means 'Wide Receiver U.' All the great receivers they've put out, the great receivers I have now, I'm definitely excited."

Arkansas is a scrappy team. Pittman has those guys playing hard.

He won't. He's scared to run and take a hit. Holds the ball way too long, locks onto receivers and doesn't even attempt to run his check-downs. Throw in a piss poor line and the only way Clemson is going to beat a good team is the defense pitching a shutout. We all know Dabo is going to stick with the prize recruit and Phomeneoneonehsehshakakahn is worse that Uncleoverthrowme. Clemson will hang in the top 10 due to defense but I don't see a playoff run this year. If by some miracle they do, they'll be out in the first round, Bama would beat them by 40+.

I do agree on some points however Dabo will cut a QB down in a hurry if he has something better, ask Bryant.


As I stated so far not overly impressed early but it is early. Time will tell

They played very disciplined. Very few penalties. No jumping around and taunting opponents. They ran back to line up, with no trash talking,....just taking care of business attitude.

They are the exact opposite of Texas A&M under Jimbo.

Tigers have some great talent at WR but need that “go to guy” at WR. My guess is we will see Will Taylor at that shortly , I HOPE


Somebody correct me if I am wrong, have not seen any deep balls in 3 games. This is what seemed to open up the bubble screen and underneath routes for last 6 yrs


I guess we get it corrected but if not gonna be in jeopardy of making lot of folks happy at Willy B this year
