    Default Remington 1100 youth shotgun stock

    Is the only difference between the regular 1100 and the youth 1100 the stock? Can you swap the stock off a youth model and put on a regular stock and make it a "non-youth" model?

    I'd like a 1100 in 20 ga and know a guy with one in youth but I dont want to buy it and find swapping stocks wont do what I need.

    The youth model has a short stock and a 21" barrel. The full length 1100 stock with fit just fine.
    Crops are harvested, animals are killed.

    The full length stock will fit. I have one in the safe that I did the exact same thing to it.
