This area can easily support 4-5 boats. These two guys were not fishing when we pulled up as we were both just arriving.
I am completely unwilling to fight over a mud flat. Just don’t have it in me and was puzzled at his actions.

Tailing flats come in all sizes.
I know flats that stretch for a couple miles and can accommodate multiple boats when the fish are there and no on interferes with the other.
It's pretty easy to push the other direction...
I used to fish the wando back 15-20 years ago and rarely encountered any other boats and that was even back up berisfords. Had one Yankee encounter fishing the needle rush marsh back in there and it was a couple jet ski's running over the flat.

Reminds me of the shrimp wars when baiting became a thing.

if a guy gets upset because a boat shows up late and interrupts his float/drift/pole of an area, it might well be because the later boat cut off his approach.

    i guess thats fair.

Will need more details on where exactly this infraction happened, for further investigation.

I would've let him board the boat....dumb? Maybe but I can guarantee you that the next time he would have thought twice about leaving his kayak.

A carbon fiber push pole would be a pretty good deterrent from boarding.
