    Default Double beam buck

A new nice young buck with a left double beam showed up last week. I love odd and unique antlers and I hope this buck has a chance to pass his genes on at least one if not two years. I have only ever seen one other buck in person that had a double main beam and I could not get my gun on him fast enough. A good friend killed him the next morning which was about 15 years ago. It was a different area than this buck. This buck has some palmation as well and looks like a 10 or maybe 11 pointer that is likely 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 years old.

I only hunt on days that end in "y"!

Had one like that last year that we never killed. Haven’t got a pic of him yet this year but i just put my camera out 2 weeks ago.

Doubt that has anything to do with genes, but good looking deer nonetheless

Rooster- as the crow flies I'm about 4-5 miles from your place. This Double Beam is younger than yours and smaller. But they are in the "same" area. Hope he makes it for 3-4 years before one of the Killin Cowboys takes him out.62428.jpeg

If you don’t, somebody else will. That deer is mature.
